iNUA #4: Enhancing Road Safety

The fourth SUTP iNUA implementation guide focuses on road safety as an increasing risk in the progress of urbanisation and economic growth. In urban areas, especially pedestrians and cyclists are exposed to a higher risk of road accidents involving death or severe injury. We explore a number of measures contributing to higher urban road safety and provides basic guidance for policy-makers and interested citizens.
