First Transport and Climate Change Week 2017
60 participants from 16 nations engaged in the first conference ever to focus on the link between transport and climate change: the “TCC-Week”!
Creating a forum for dialogue, learning and innovation for government officials and transport experts from around the globe was the aim of the first Transport and Climate Change Week. On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conversation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BUMB), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH organized the conference in Germany’s capital Berlin. The German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt, UBA), Agora Verkehrswende and the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) were strategic partners of the event.
