Walk21 Calgary: (re)Connecting Community Together.

The University of Calgary and partners at The City of Calgary will host the XVIII Walk21 International Conference on Walking and Liveable Communities in September 2017.

Walk21 draws academia, citizens, policy-makers, urban planners, healthcare professionals, and local leaders who are invested in fostering healthy and vibrant communities. International delegates will experience Calgary’s emerging walkability, discuss how walking transforms rapidly growing cities, and be exposed to new ideas about how walking can connect people and communities.
